Today I had the wonderfully memorable experience of my college signing, and....
I'm overjoyed to be spending the next 4 years at Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia!! It's a dream come true to have the opportunity to pursue both my artistic and athletic pursuits at the collegiate level. I plan on majoring in Documentary Photography, with a minor in Art History, and running Cross Country and Track & Field.
The college commitment process has been an adventure, as choosing a college is tough enough, but wanting to both run XC/TF and go to art school is a niche that's very hard to find. Despite that rarity, I'm so so excited to say that SCAD is where I will be heading to pursue both of those passions in college.
Today at school I had my signing, and it was truly so wonderful to share that special moment with so many friends and family, as well as school mentors who have supported me along the way. It takes a village, and I'm so blessed to have such a supportive one behind me as I work hard to pursue my dreams. My high school experience has been a very unique one, and through it I have found some of the most supportive and inspirational figures to guide me along this crazy adventure. I can't thank them all enough, but especially Mrs. Lyke, my college counselor, who has made this all possible.
