Hey everyone! I hope you're having a great day! (as I seem to be in the pic below) On Tuesday of this last week I filmed a 'day in the life vlog' where I show you guys everything I do in a day. This was a particularly busy day so I hope you enjoy! And just for your viewing pleasure I added what time it was at each point in the day. Well, mainly for my sanity but enjoy! ;)
On the next day, Wednesday, I had my 8th grade Career Fair where people from various professions come in and we can walk around their booths and see what interests us. At the beginning and end we were given 'talks' where influential people talk about their past and what got them to where they are today. Here's what I picked up...
1) A college degree can get you a LOT of places.
2) Most people in eighth grade had no idea what they wanted to do when they grew up. (ironic, huh?)
3) If they did know, it changed after they started college. (oh boy)
4) Your job should always keep you curious and passionate.
5) Experiences like the Career Fair are priceless.
There you go, basically a checklist for life right there. Now, I wouldn't say that Wednesday really changed any of my classmates' lives, but it was a really interesting day!
