Hi everyone! Happy Boxing Day (if that's a phrase?)! If you've been watching my YouTube videos for a while, you may remember that my family has a tradition of doing a Christmas morning run dressed in holiday costumes, and we definitely couldn't miss that this year. ;) It started out in 2018 with my dad and I dressing as Santa & an elf, and that's branched out into now both of my younger brothers adding on as another elf and reindeer. "Costumes" really just means headgear as we can't let it impede our running abilities, haha. It's definitely one of the weirder traditions we have, but it's actually a really fun experience! This Christmas was Reu's first time joining us on the escapade, and he seems to have enjoyed it. We ran 4 festive miles, and finished it up just in time for church. It's a really funny experience, but it's made even more interesting by the fact that we run in the dark so if anyone in cars or walking happens to see us, they really notice. An added bonus is that you get amazing views of holiday lights in our favorite neighborhoods! Overall, I'd recommend running in Christmas costumes if you want a fun... if unique... activity on Christmas morning. Check out the video and enjoy our escapade!! 🎅🎄
