Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great weekend! When quarantine started my family made a goal of hiking every weekend in a different state and we made it to a total of 5 states in 5 weeks. It was so fun, and so this week's video and blog post are a highlight reel of the hikes. Below there's tons of pictures and in the YouTube video I also show videos of the different trails. Here's a recap!
Hike #1: Prince Gallitzin State Park, Pennsylvania
This was pretty close to home but it was still fun!
Hike #2: Black Water Falls State Park, West Virginia
This one I actually did a full vlog of and it was so fun! We saw two waterfalls, one was very big and the other was more of a stream but they were both beautiful. There was also a few pretty outlooks and we went on one of them, which had a stunning view.
Hike #3: Deep Creek State Park, Maryland
This hike was much less impressive, and much longer than we thought it would be. The outlook at the top wasn't super impressive but it was still fun to hike as a family.
Hike #4: Watkins Glen State Park, New York
This hike was definitely one of our all time favorites, and it was amazing to see all of the waterfalls! There's a lower trail that gets you closer to the actual waterfalls themselves that we definitely plan on doing this summer!
Hike #5: Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ohio
This was our last out of state hike and it was fantastic! The rock formations were amazing and we loved climbing the different boulders.
Overall these hikes were a fantastic way to get outside in nature during quarantine and we loved it!! Be sure to check out the video and enjoy! :))
