Hi everyone! I hope you're having a relaxing snow day, if you live in PA! These pictures are from a basketball game that I got to shoot at a few weeks ago, and I'm so excited to share them with you. One of my goals for this year is to try to expand my portfolio past my typical portrait photography, and I'm starting it out by venturing to some local high school sports games this winter. I got to enjoy this game with my dear friend and make-shift photo assistant Ella, and we had a blast watching the basketball, as both of us are runners, lol.
Portraying the details of sports, outside of the classic action shots, is what I aspire to do with my sports photos. As with all of my photography, my style isn't defined currently by much of anything besides "capturing emotion", and in this case I got to figure out how to do that without even seeing faces.
