Hey guys! Hope your week's good! In my school's history class this year for 8th grade we're learning about government and about how people become U.S. citizens. We then take the citizenship test and if we get a 93% or higher we "become U.S. citizens" and have a party!
You choose a country to be from, (mine was the UK) and we say an oath and sing some songs. This year my grade had it on Wednesday, and we had so much fun!
If you personally know me, you'll know that I come up with totally crazy ideas all of the time, like this summer I designed a dance for our 8th grade graduation that is next May. I didn't even know if I would be aloud to. Yeah. This is what it's sort of based off of... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSEkI3Urmd4
Anyways, few days before we did the ceremony I had the idea of me to make a cool video of the Citizenship Ceremony, and figured I'd ask my teacher.
She said yes.
As you can imagine, I was overly excited (Edie- overexcited... no never) and immediately spent the next few nights in bed thinking about practically only that. My teacher then upped the excitement a few notches by saying that I could film the other 8th grade class too!
I had so much fun filming and making this awesome video, and I'm pretty proud of it.
Here's the result...

P.S. - If you just watched it, I HAD to add in the bloopers, I couldn't resist! Also, a lot of the text are inside jokes of my class.
(this is only one of the two 8th grade classes, not mine)
