Heidi Theresa Art - Backyard Portraits

For my entire life, my mom has been my biggest artistic supporter and inspiration. As you may have seen, a few years ago she taught herself to oil paint and has been painting series of modern contemporary artworks themed around mental health and wellbeing through artistic expression. Watching her artistic journey has been awe-inspiring.

At the end of this summer, she asked me to take some portraits in our backyard of her work and her alongside it. These photos have become so special to me, as they show my beautiful mother in our backyard with her incredibly powerful artwork. I will always be thankful to have been raised in such an artistic household, and for my mom's example of resilience and artistic self expression.
