LaFrancé RNR: Shoe Box Redesign Project

Welcome to the new chapter of my creative career! I'm so excited to share the first project I've completed so far in my first 700-level graphic design studio. We had three weeks to research, design and physically create an experiential shoe box for a pair of shoes that we were randomly assigned. I ended up with a pair of aggressively lime green basketball shoes that were a collaboration between LaMelo Ball and PUMA Hoops.

This was my first dive into design research and how to create a new look for a pre-existing brand. We also had the price constraint of making sure that the box could be hypothetically reproduced one thousand times at $5 per box for all materials and production costs. It was a challenge in so many ways, many of which I documented in an Instagram reel of my process and the end result. I want to be making more reels and documenting my creative process this year as I learn a lot of new processes.

Overall, I learned SO much and I'm honestly thrilled with how the final box came out. Enjoy some of the official photos below and look out for these in the PUMA aisles in a few years?!
