Scanned Textures: Berlin Poster Series

Today I'm so excited to share a project that I've been working on bit-by-bit ever since my trip to Berlin, Germany in August. On my trip, I brought my new portable scanner and scanned a ton of different things around the city. I focused on textures, such as graffiti, street signs, posters and more. It was such a fun way to explore the city using my graphic design eye. I felt so inspired by the typography and style of the city in general, and I was constantly taking pictures and scanning the world around me.

I turned a few of my best scans into a poster series, seen below. I want to continue to play around with both the scanner and these photos, as it creates such a fun way to view the world!! Stay tuned.
