September, you were a joy!! We started at the beach and ended in the classroom, but I'm not mad about it. Being back in Savannah has been challenging and fulfilling as we've been ramping up for a new year.
One of the biggest highlights of this past month was definitely experiencing Hurricane Helene and its effects on Savannah. We didn't get the brunt of it, but I've never seen hurricane devastation like that before. It was educational in seeing the effects of climate change and even simply how natural disasters like hurricanes affect the South. Fascinating. On the bright side, I'm finding a love for graphic design, remembering how hot the South is in the fall, and taking lots of photos.
October has always been one of my favorite months of the year and this October has not disappointed so far. I'm soaking up school, running and art, as usual. Enjoy the photo diary of September below!!
