The Stages of Transformation - A Photo Series

This was originally a project for my Video Tech for Photographers class and it evolved into something deeper and more meaningful about my emotional state at the time. This winter quarter felt oddly like a season of change and transformation in a lot of realms of life. I wanted to exemplify this strange feeling of change and growth through surrealist-style images.

For the assignment we were meant to create artistic GIFs out of the images and videos to be used as moving images. I learned a lot through this project and I'm really excited about the results. Below you can see some of the still images and a series of the transformation stages. Enjoy!
