Turtle Island, Lake George, NY Journal

ree

One of the craziest adventures of June (which is saying a lot) was going camping with dearest Anna and some family friends in upstate New York! We set up our campsite on Turtle Island, which is a part of Lake George, right on the border of New York and Vermont. For two days we shared boat time, card games, and so much PB&J. I haven't been truly camping in years and never for more than just one night, so this was a very new experience. I cliff jumped for the first time! And subsequently felt very brave. From our evening jaunts into Bolton Landing to the best star gazing I've ever experienced, I'm so thankful to have been invited onto this trip with this lovely crew.

I'm trying to experiment with documenting my travels in different creative ways, so this was a new take on documentary photographs and graphic design. I'm intrigued by how it turned out and can't wait to keep traveling and saving these memories. Enjoy a digital scrapbook below!
