Things I'm Creating Lately: Spring Edition

This quarter I'm in three studio classes (the most you can take at SCAD) and consequently I've been physically creating more artistic work than I ever have before! Between my senior photo portfolio class and my first two graduate-level graphic design classes, plus freelance projects, my schedule has been jam packed. As much as it's been a massive challenge, I've been feeling really inspired and fulfilled with the work I'm doing.

Since there's been so many different projects in different mediums, I wanted to share some work-in-progress and snippets of my favorite creative moments lately. Below you'll find some snapshots of what I've been creating lately.

  1. (above) SCAD Senior fashion designer Jessy Zimmer's senior collection "Fox Hunt Pageant" shot in the studio, worn by Sarah-Maelle Iku

  2. My teammate Tom before his 1500 meter race at the Sun Conference Championships in Lakeland, Florida in April

  3. A to-do list, musings and logo sketches in my prized notebook

  4. Exhibition photos for the painting show "Beyond Everything" by my dear friends Talia Sullivan and Mario Arsvita

  5. The menu system for "The Lunch Bunch" -- a restaurant I designed for my typography class

  6. Studio details of Jessy Zimmer's collection, worn by Lola Kinney

  7. A running log and museum guide for kids I made as a part of a women's running history museum I designed for my integrated design media class

  8. The opening night of Port City Review: an arts publication and physical gallery space, designed by myself and my dear friends at SCAD District

  9. An excerpt of my personal sketchbook: Paint swatches and paint
